Autumn Wishes!

There are Eid wishes, Anniversary wishes, New Year wishes,
so why not implement Autumn Wishes!

Yesterday Autumn 2012 declared its arrival, with a heavy shower...
it rained almost all night..
I looked through the window,
I prayed,
and I wished that all the dust of our life will wash away with these fresh new lovely drops of rain.
the dusty memories, the dust in our brains, and the dust on our hearts that keep us from enjoying the light!

It also occurred to my mind, that I haven't posted the photos related to our crazy summer!
so it's now or never,
otherwise, those photos will not be suitable if it gets a little bit colder! :)

And here comes Episode 2 of our beach series!
end of June we went to Tyr, to the amazing white sands, accompanied by family and friends.
kids explored/enjoyed/experimented,
especially Sary who was so disgusted at first, then he caught the fun and we couldn't move him away!

The BEACH! First Episode of a long list of posts!

Last month marked our first day at the beach!

Both kids enjoyed it like crazy!
it was so delightful and I even had time to relax and enjoy the sun!

Ghadi is now so independent, he plays all alone, or with other kids!

he made friends quickly and in no time he was shouting out their names, controlling the game, since that the beach ball belongs to him! (what a mini-dictator!)

Sary sheltered from the sun, happy in water like a small duckling!

I thought that plain spaghetti would be the best food in hot weather, to avoid the awful food usually served at the beach. Sary had a blast, eating by himself!

The Beach!

what would be more beautiful than this...

Going to the beach brings back very special memories...

During summer days we spent in Abu Dhabi, My father used to wake us up so early... me and my sister
and he took us to the beach...
we used to swim, breath the morning fresh air...
and we collected those beautiful sea shells...
we really enjoyed that...
and this year, Ghadi is finally aware of all this hidden beauty
and we started to collect them
and when we came back home,
we used them to decorate an old picture frame...

 that was so COOL!

Beach, Water & a LOT of Fun!

Yesterday we went to the beach with my sister and her kids...
The fun we had, or better said, the fun Ghadi had can not be written or described, it was such a hilarious day and we all enjoyed it!
Ghadi is much more courageous, he was playing alone in the pool, he climbed the ladder, jumped into the water, first with the help of my magnificent nieces and nephew, then by his own...
thanks to S., R., and R. I managed to lay down all the day, enjoying the lazy sun, watching him play, without having to run after him ALL the time!
