Here are few Photos taken by mobile camera (hence the bad quality) but which summarize kids development and interests and relationship in a spontaneous way!

 yes,  he is playing dead... he may stay there, still for minutes...

Ghadi is showing so much interest in everything related to cooking 

he loves to help, to stir, and surely, to taste ;)

 Sary's latest obsession (which is going to last forever i think) are motorcycles, or ATVs or anything related...

 AND wearing mom's and dad's shoes of course!

 he is playing with his brother more often now, the laugh loud and  they spend beautiful time together!

 and Sary doesn't hesitate to show his affection for his brother... this makes my heart melt and it kills me every time I see them hugging!

Is it Spring?

After a long week of rain and cold (it's already APRIL people!)
the sun shows up today...finally!!!
and with it I felt like coming back to life!
and my fingers felt like tipping the keyboard again...
so many updates, I'll try to sum it up... starting by... this little package of cuteness...
So, if you happen to visit us these days, be sure that you will be well received and mostly welcome in our house!
Sary gets happy whenever the door bell rings! he runs, gets excited, even delivery guys receive smiles and warm welcome salutations from him!
He's getting more aware, repeating words, making up scenes, and of course, mastering his tantrum techniques!

yes, this angel face can bring you to the edge of your self control 

but the good  thing about this little boy is that he is easy to distract and easy to please...

now his ultimate goal is to imitate his brother... and to run after him. 

Ghadi is also showing more affection towards his brother, he's taking care of him, plays with him, and they started to enjoy doing some activities together:

dancing like crazy with mom just before bedtime,

finger painting,

 playing outdoors whenever weather permits...

and finally I want to post my mother's day's goodies before I forget...

Never thought Brotherhood would be that awesome!

Ghadi and Sary are getting more in harmony together!

Brotherhood is so beautiful and they both apparently enjoy it

Ghadi plays the most important role in this!

He clearly loves his brother and expresses his love (in so many different ways!)

But he often shown affection and tenderness, which is a part of Ghadi’s personality we don’t see every day!

Sary is 11 months old!

Bedtime has never been BETTER!

Ghadi insists on me to put his brother in bed next to him...

they both enjoy the cuddling and I feel i'm on the seventh cloud

it's so inspiring to see them both laughing and having fun!

and I have no clue why the photos are rotated but have no time to fix this now so bare with me and tilt your heads to see those cute boys !

Sary fighting for his Book!

yes 

Sary has a book (a gift from my sisters of course)

and 

He started to fight to get his stuff from his brother

now it sounds so evident

but at the time i was watching him struggle and crawl and fight to get the book from his brother

it was an amazing feeling!

a great milestone for this cute baby

who doesn't seem as possessive as his brother and accepted to share the reading with him! :)

A very typical morning

Ghadi wakes up in the morning, 

hears his brother laughing,

hurries to my room,

jumps on the bed , 

lay down as close as possible to Sary!

trying to play with him, putting his finger in Sary's eye (almost)

then, me, asking Ghadi to keep his hand away from his brother's eyes!

Ghadi gets furious

he pulls aside, showing clearly how upset he is

and Sary, smiling, waving with his hands

looking at me with his amazing eyes that seem to say: thank you! thaaank you!!! 

Sary is 3 months old!

It is 3 months 20 days now! Sary is getting cuter than ever, smiling now and reacting to every move we make

He follows his dad with his eyes whenever he is in the same room

And frowns whenever he sees his big brother (now expecting what would happen next: he would jump next to him, hug him, kiss him, punch him discretely and/or try to put his finger on his nose/eyes/forehead, etc…)

Yesterday I was feeding him when Ghadi decided to jump on the sofa, imitating a soldier, crying the victory word “yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay”

Sary burst in tears, almost getting unable to breath, trembling and probably imagining the worst!

To my surprise, when Ghadi saw his bro in this situation, he laughed, and laughed and It was a great fun for him!

after i calmed Sary, Ghadi came and  hugged him and continued playing the whole evening taking great consideration not to yell or cry out loud again!

I love boys

Tenderness

Ghadi's jealousy in increasing, but still, he is neither aggressive nor harmful towards his brother.
and even though he shows signs of rebellion whenever he sees Sary in my arms, but deep inside he is as tender as always.
sometimes Ghadi sits beside me and tries his best to attract my attention, he puts his head next to Sary's and then Sary's hands hit Ghadi's face, and the latter begins to yell:
"Sary is hitting me in the face! Sary is putting his leg over my stomach, Oh it hurts!!!!!"
so I pretend to be mad at Sary too and I start talking to him in a firm way : " Sary I asked you Not to put your hand in your mouth, and do not punch your brother in the face, and do Not put your foot in Ghadi's mouth!"
at this point Ghadi stands up and looks at me and starts saying:
"no mommy, he's just a baby, he doesn't know how to hit, maybe's he's angry... do not yell at him!"
and my heart melts
and I hug them both
and I pray they'll be best brothers forever!

Love is in the air

The typical question from everyone i know or meet is: how is Ghadi doing with his little brother?
and my answer is always the same: He is doing really great (with a feeling of an immense joy in my heart)
because Ghadi proved to be a big boy with a great sense of responsibility
he cares for his brother
he likes to hug him, kiss him, lay down beside him
he never shows acts of jealousy and he's never aggressive
I hope it will stay like this because seeing those angels together makes this world much more beautiful, it makes my life much more meaningful and the Love is truly...in the air everywhere around me and in my house.
