West Bekaa Country Club- 2019

Yes, again we headed to our favorite weekened retreat, the club in the Bekaa Valeey where you can see the manifestation of spring at its best!

It started with some tree climbing and fruit picking, the delicious "lawz" 

and then kids spent the day playing around non stop

 the next day started with the traditional breakfast, then we were all ready to start our trip to Ammiq  where we enjoyed an amazing hike under rain drops

 then we fed the horses, the kids had a blast1

Just before leaving the hotel they enjoyed few rounds of  biking and ATV rides 

it couldn't get better ;)

Eating Chinese!

yes! we enjoyed dinner with kids at our favourite Chinese restaurant!

there's no cuter picky eater than this one I can tell you!

 and no funnier than that:

La Nuit des Musees

Last year we had a blast at the "Night of the Museums" at Beirut
so kids didn't think twice when I asked them if they would like to do the tour last month
we started at the archaeological museum at the american university of Beirut since that we missed it last year
It was so nice and kids friendly

 then we ran to the museum at the Banque Du Liban, the most interactive museum in Lebanon
while waiting at the queue, Sary did "the face" asking me to shoot him
and when I asked why so serious, he said: Mom, all faces on money look so serious

I couldn't resist bringing him to a laughter and I snapped this one:

 then both kids enjoyed holding a golden piece with one finger

 they measured their weight in gold,

 and posted their faces digitally transformed into banknotes

 and the trip wouldn't be complete without a break at their favourite street food place

Mother's day 2019

Sary was so excited during the past few days
He's preparing a secret letter for mother's day
And resisting fiercely to tell me about it
No words can say or express my joy when I came back hone and he was jumping from happiness giving me the letter and the card and showering me with hugs and kisses

Ghadi also surprised me with a very cute card including no quotes but his own words
That was very touching and it brought tears to my eyes

As for my present Ghadi offered me a day out with the family and so we did

God knows how much we needed this outing

We had lunch at my favorite restaurant 

seeing these two together and how they get along well, how they share laughs and winks and all the naughty smiles is like candy to my eye 

and because a lame photo is a must, here we are:

When are they too old for Kidzmondo?

A trip to Kidzmondo where kids roleplay professions theydream of is a very nice experience  sndwe can never get enough of wearing fire fighters cap, holding the formula1 trophy or even baking a small  chocolate sandwich ;)

Getting home totally exhausted we both slept early, while the grown up kid spent a delightful evening with his neighbor/cousin/ soul mate Y.B

Good morning :)

I woke up a bit late, so I asked the father to wake up the kids, and I ran to the kitchen to prepare the lunch boxes

15 minutes later there was a weird silence

when I entered kids bedrooms I found this beautiful scene:

Moral of the story:
the next time we are late the father should be doing the sandwiches :)

SARY is 8!

Yes he is 8!

Did I ever mentioned that this is the sweetest age ever?

He is turning into an independent young boy, willing to please upon his own mood but always tender and loving

Growing up, I hope he will always keep the beautiful heart and the amazing soul overwhelming us with happiness and bringing laughter when we don't expect it

Arts and crafts- boys version

When Ghadi asked me to do some crafts my expectations were directly related to do painting, paper flowers or some cute animals stuff

What he had on mind was totally different

He asked me to do a paper gun that sctually shoots paper bullets

I laughed at the idea and i said it might not be doable.

Well, google proved i was wrong

And as i googled it, tens of DIY videos showing different types of paper guns were scrolling 

So that's what we did
