Summer camp 2016

This summer both kids are so excited to start their daily trips to summer camp!

Ghadi is not friendly when he's asked to pose

And finally he did!

And of course they are cooperative when it comes to funny grimaces!

Our first family night out in a long time

Usually on a saturday night Jamil and I would go out and have some "us" time

But the kids are on holidays and have been at home since one week now. So i thought we'd better take them out with us

And I'm so glad we did!

They were marvellous and acted in a beautiful way we didnt regret it at all!

Trash Pack League

Out latest addition to the trash pack football field: a stadium so audience can watc and cheer for their favorite team!

And yes, Darth Vader is a huge football fan...

Meet our new guest: a cute little turtle!

We still haven't chosen a name yet but kids are really happy having it, especially Ghadi

He checks on it every hour and spends lot of time watching it eat, sleep or run on the balcony floor. Yes run. He insists it's faster than any other turtle he'd seen ;)

A Bookworm at our house!

This is the moment i was waiting for since i found out that this boy is the mini-me! He can't resist reading and he's turning to a dedicated reader!

Yesterday he installed his reading lamp after i turned off the lights because he couldn't stop reading his story book!

Oh so much cuteness and heart warming scene!

Ghadi will have special celebration on sunday with his best friends 

The plan includes going to the movie, special dinner and then afternoon fun at home!

We had so much fun the first day at Batroun that te second day started before sunrise!

Sary woke up early and we started the day like this:

And when i asked for a brothers' hug i got this:

That's not what i meant

Yes... Much better ;)

Then we headed to the indoor pool

Sary achieved this day a huge milestone

Something he refused to do the whole summer :

Swimming without holding our hands!

It was so nice to see him moving around on his own

And Ghadi... My adorable fish

He Had a blast using his cousin's waterproof cam

-Note to myself: i'm definitely going to buy one before next summer!-

After all that fun we had a rest...

 Not all of us, of course. Kids enjoyed some billiards lessons and played around

We were hime by evening

And the next morning they were thrilled by the lego gifts:

We are celebrating this Eid in Batroun

We used to come here in Autumn but it seems summer mood is still on

The day has surely started with the Eid Morning presents

Ghadi had a blast cuz he has been wishing for this Beyblade field since long time. He even reminded me how he tried once to save money and get it

Sary is fond of Sponge Bob these days. I thought  that this boat with the main characters would be a special gift. But he was fussy and he just asked about the other army boat he had seen last week in  a toys store...

Then we headed to the resort along with jamil's brother and family

Kids had a great time and it felt so good to see them running around happily instead of being trapped inside apartments all day long

this would be the best way to say good bye to the pool and to outdoor swimming

The day activities included running, football, swimming.. And running (again)
