Adha Mubarak 2015- part 2

We had so much fun the first day at Batroun that te second day started before sunrise!
Sary woke up early and we started the day like this:

And like that:
And when i asked for a brothers' hug i got this:
No Ghadi
That's not what i meant
Yes... Much better ;)
Then we headed to the indoor pool

Sary achieved this day a huge milestone
Something he refused to do the whole summer :
Swimming without holding our hands!
It was so nice to see him moving around on his own
And Ghadi... My adorable fish
He Had a blast using his cousin's waterproof cam
-Note to myself: i'm definitely going to buy one before next summer!-
After all that fun we had a rest...
Not all of us, of course. Kids enjoyed some billiards lessons and played around
We were hime by evening
Ghadi startedca trash pack football match before sleeping
And the next morning they were thrilled by the lego gifts:
The double decker couch!!!
Happy Eid everyone

Adha Mubarak 2015

We
are celebrating this Eid in Batroun
We used to come here in Autumn but it seems summer mood is still on
The day has surely started with the Eid Morning presents
Ghadi had a blast cuz he has been wishing for this Beyblade field since long time. He even reminded me how he tried once to save money and get it
Sary is fond of Sponge Bob these days. I thought  that this boat with the main characters would be a special gift. But he was fussy and he just asked about the other army boat he had seen last week in  a toys store...
Then we headed to the resort along with jamil's brother and family
Kids had a great time and it felt so good to see them running around happily instead of being trapped inside apartments all day long
this would be the best way to say good bye to the pool and to outdoor swimming

The day activities included running, football, swimming.. And running (again)

Adha Mubarak everyone!!!

My favorite football player is

Ghadi!
Yes...we switched from Basket ball to football and so happy about that
He's a passionate player enjoying every single session
While the little one keeps jumping around refusing to get enrolled and obey instructions
Why am i not surprised!

One and a half year recap?

Is it even possible?
To summarize the last 18 months in one post?
Let's say that i had a long break.

During which i had a great shift in my career, working with a great team on couple interesting projects.

Ghadi will be 8 years old in 2weeks
As adorable as ever, a Football freak and one cute bookworm

Sary has developed a nice character, still finds difficulties to express his negative feelings but we are working on that
He is funnier, happier and way calmer than the 3 year old boy i used to describe.

Much more about this summer, school and boys in the upcoming posts. Stay tuned ;)

Sunday Morning

What to do on a Sunday morning when having a running nose and no energy to run after two boys in the park?
Yes.. An art attack!!

coucou!

yes we are still here!
with a pair of glasses and lots of energy to keep the earth moving ;)
Ghadi is enjoying the summer camp as usual, finding out new ways to play and getting just smarter
Sary is responsible for all the action and suspense, flying from sofa to sofa, refusing to abide by the house rules and testing our patience 24/7!

yes I miss posting and no I cannot promise you or myself that I will be posting often
I just hope so and will try my best to pop up from time to time just to say: coucou

Watching the news, illustrated by Ghadi

Ghadi taking care of his grandma!

I told Ghadi the other day that his grandma is sick...so when he gets back from school to her house he shall behave good and play without noise...
The next day mom told me what made my heart melt
Ghadi came back from school, comes the stairs, and as soon as he got rid from the school bag he asked mom of she has oranges. She said yes so he asked for a juicer...Then he went to the kitchen and asked mom to cut the oranges..he squeezed them and offered her the orange juice wishing she'll get well soon...
The simple act warmed her heart and made her day...The tenderness is so previous and it only reflects the inner cuteness of this boy who rarely expresses his emotions.
Beside that, I should mention he's learning knitting...yes...and guess what, I don't mind at all!!!

Boys, questions and some hugging in between

Ghadi is showing so much affection that I would proudly declare 6 years old as the most adorable age ever! He has never been emotional expressing love giving hugs but hey we are 6 years old remember?  The age of the ultimate awesomness he receives me with a huge hug, kisses and sings me songs... and above all, he's being so cute with his brothers..as alwaysQuestions? Now we are at the level of:-why do girls have boobs while boys don't- does earth turns around the moon or the moon turns around the sun?- why can't we use the fire of the sun to create heat?- why does a girl needs a boy to have a baby? And while trying to scratch my head and answer I notice another boy jumping on the sofa and flying through the house. Sary is a super active baby who is in constant movement either jumping or runningHe acted so weird during the school interview that we were really concerned if thjust had a talk today with his teacher and she's happy
We noticed a change as well but I can't tell if it's about the new nursery or avoir hitting the three years
We celebrated his birthday last sunday
We invited the neighbours's kids in the morning and all kids were thrilled and happy
Afternoon we had a gathering at his grandparents and I can tell you: it was add usual full of laughtet and joy
Mazen indulged us with oreo Popsickles
We got sary a garage and a new scooter
He received also a guitar, bowling set,  motorcycle and a truck
Sary is as always,  a cheerful child filled with energy and hard to control.

Will this winter end?

new job.
new job people...at age 38!
yeah I know i might be crazy... but I just had this feeling, it was the right  thing to do at the right moment...
ok, I had to "re-arrange" lots of things in my life... from Sary's nursery to my favorite bakery... but I believe it is worth it.
many details to come about this, and about other stuff going around... about the new questions coming from that sweet mouth of Ghadi, about otitis - yes, again!!!- and about my worries regarding Sary's non-stop movement and the disastrous interview we had for school registration...
I'm just taking a long breath now, check on this blog one month later and I promise it will be loaded with hundred funny stories and few sad ones... because this is life after all... and if we don't put a big smile and open our heart for hope, we're f***ed ;) and I wouldn't allow that i'm telling ya
happy February, happy new day...wishing us and you all lovely end for this long long winter I will never forget.

Coucou!

2 Months!
Yeah... It's been two months now since my last post!
I can assure you I’m still alive... the overall "me" is still alive
And we are doing great...kicking away "the Bad" and embracing the "good" life surprises...

My posts are 2 months late but a LOT has been happening since late September.
I will not shower you now with photos or news..well, I will not resist posting the famous 2013-wrap-up-trillion-photos-post, but now I will just skip those couple months and prepare myself to the leap...not only to the New Year, but to many daring decisions I am about to take and that may shape our life, to the best or to the worse? I can't tell.. A dear friend sent me the proverb: “how would you know it's the right decision if you never take it?"... and it helped me get over that question!

Life is weird, I know that for now...but I would repeat what I say and feel at the end of every year:
I am grateful, grateful and so grateful for everything I have, for everyone I have, for every guidance and support I got, for every nice word I received, and for every laugh I heard...
The immense joy of all of the above cannot leave space in the heart for any despair or sadness
It simply shouldn't.

Breathe deep my friends, hold hug and kiss your beloved ones and spread love and positive energy...
Try your best to step out of the routines, the daily rhythms, the same breakfast ;)
Some craziness is healthy...
try it out yourselves :)
Wishing the usual wishes, everyone!
